A short drive from downtown Cody brings us to this nearby outdoor adventure playground! This is one of my personal favorite local hikes, and that's saying something, considering I've been at it for over 2 decades! This particular hike happens to be not too long, not too short, plus not too difficult nor too far away.
Within minutes of civilization, we'll be immersed in nature, breathing the fresh mountain air, seeing some memorable, incredible sights and getting a nice little workout.
This spirited 6-mile loop route takes us through Cody's beautiful sage, juniper, and red rock country. If we're lucky, we will see some wildlife, as well. It's hard to stop taking pictures on this tour, so be sure you have enough space on your smartphone.
This tour is such a delightful snapshot of the nature side of Cody. It's a wonderful brief retreat from town and recharges you for the remainder of your vacation.
